The museum is open from 9 am to 12 midnight daily. Closed only for the Academy Awards when the real stars are outside, walking the red carpet into the Dolby Theatre.
Visit anytime from open till close—no need to rush!
Guests usually go around the museum for 1–2 hours, but there’s no time limit! Take your time checking and taking pictures with the wax figures, read about each of the celebrities, and take in the artistic value of the sculptures.
A lot of wax is gathered and turned into a lifelike figure of Hollywood stars through a laborious process involving clay, molds, small detail refinement, costume crafting, and props prepping in a span of three months with the collaboration of seven (7) talented artists for just one figure!
Yes, you are not only allowed but encouraged! You can also use items from the museum’s prop stations when you pose for pictures with the wax figures.
Yes, the museum is fun for all ages! And children ages 3 and below can visit the museum for free.
